Part 3: Unknown writers
As I continue to write, now entering Chapter 5, I think about all the incredible writers who have never been named. The books no one has read, admired, or cherished, the way they deserved.
I do not think I am the world’s greatest writer. Not by a long shot. But my writing is wonderful. It’s deep and interesting, it’s engaging and keeps you on your toes.
I think about all those incredible songs that have been written and recorded but never shared. The artists that have painted such awe-inspiring works that have never been showcased.
I pray that this novel, this series, is not one that goes unnoticed by the masses. I truly hope that this novel, Life Between the Pages, is a book that people read and think, Wow. What heart must have gone into each word…
Because if nothing else, my stories have heart. They live and breathe just like any of us.
As I write this book and the book before this, The Potential of Heartbreak, I fight, sob, dream, and learn along with each of my characters. Never think that these are fictional thoughts or actions because each of them live through me. I feel them wholly as they coarse through my mind.
Writing is such a gift and a privilege. And my thoughts, my characters, are merely vessels of inspiration, relatability, and creativity that allow real connection and emotional attachment to happen.
So, wander the bookshops and pick up a book with a good plot and unknown tile. See where it takes you and I bet you’ll be pleasantly surprised by what you find.
